Raksha Bandhan or Rakhi is a special occasion to celebrate the virtuous bond between brother and a sister which is one of the deepest and noblest of all human emotions. On this day, a sister ties a Rakhi around the wrist of her brother to pray for his prosperity, health, and well-being. The brother in return offers a gift and promises to protect his sister from any harm under every circumstance.
The students at TAGORE HIGH SCHOOL celebrated Raksha Bandhan by taking part in a Rakhi making event. Girl students enthusiastically tied Rakhi on the wrist of boys(classmates). The vibrant colour of Rakhi and innocent smiles brightened the ambience and lifted the spirit.
Raksha Bandhan was celebrated with lots of love and happiness. The new age Raksha Bandhan emphasises both sisters and brothers protecting, helping, and loving each other for a better tomorrow.
